Apple released iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 today – The iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV, which are Apple’s next major updates, are almost ready. IOS 14 and iPad OS 14 will be released along with the latest updates to watchOS and tvOS on September 16, Wednesday, as announced by the company, “Time Flies” event.

As of the event, the full golden master (GM) of these updates has not been received by application developers, so Apple’s software release schedule looks strangely rushed, but new features are to come.

Widgets for the iPhone home screen, where all applications are brought together in a new application library and the picture-in-picture mode was added was first brought by iOS 14. In addition, there is a new translation application.

Widgets cannot be placed anywhere on the home screen by iOS 14, but what can be done with Apple Pencil is based on it. Users can write by hand in any text field on iPadOS and words are converted to text, according to the new Scribble feature of iPadOS 14. Additionally, sidebars and expanded menus are being added by Apple’s native apps to take advantage of the largest screen on the iPad.

Improvements to Messages such as fixed conversations, mentions and inline responses, compact notifications of incoming calls, bike routes on Maps, privacy improvements, a redesigned music app, and more were shared in the update.
