Apple officially released the iPhone 17 on September 19, 2025. It comes with a 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and an impressive 3000 nits peak brightness, along with a 1206 x 2622 pixels resolution. For protection, it uses the new Ceramic Shield 2 glass, rated Mohs level 5, with an anti-reflective coating. The build quality includes a glass front and back with an aluminum frame. The front camera is an 18MP multi-aspect sensor with autofocus and gyro-EIS for stable video. The phone supports advanced video features like 4K HDR recording with Dolby Vision and spatial video capture. Connectivity is top-tier, featuring global 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a USB-C port with DisplayPort. It also includes a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip and satellite connectivity for Emergency SOS.
Battery life is supported by a Li-Ion 3692 mAh cell, which supports 25W MagSafe wireless charging and can reach a 50% charge in 20 minutes with a wired connection. It also features 4.5W reverse wired charging. The Apple iPhone 17 comes in Black, White, Mist Blue, Sage, and Lavender. It carries a starting price of $1,114 (Rs. 102,900 in India).
