Alcatel 3 (2025)

Alcatel 3 (2025) Specifications

Announced in May 2025, Alcatel 3 (2025) was released as a budget phone prioritizing cost over capability. It has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD that delivers a low 576×1280 resolution (215 PPI), text and icons appear visibly pixelated, and 400-nit brightness struggles outdoors. The plastic build (185g) feels budget-grade, though the side-mounted fingerprint sensor is a rare perk. Power comes from the Unisoc SC9863A1 – a 2018-era 22nm chip – paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB slow eMMC 5.1 storage. For a budget device in 2025, this hardware feels generations behind.

Aside from this, the 5010mAh battery is the sole bright spot, enabling 2 days of battery life, but 10W charging takes 3+ hours for a full charge, which is unacceptable today. The Alcatel 3 comes with an 8MP main sensor and a 5MP selfie camera with low 1080p@30fps video recording. Connectivity is equally outdated: Bluetooth 4.2 (vs. modern 5.3), Wi-Fi 4-only (no 5GHz), and no NFC. While Android 15 Go Edition runs the hardware bottlenecks, basic tasks. MicroSD expansion and a 3.5mm jack can’t offset these flaws. The Alcatel 3 (2025) fails to justify its $130 (Rs. 10,999 in India) price with severely outdated specs. While the battery life and clean OS are admirable, there are lots of options available in the entry-level segment.
